These are a game-changer for any closet but especially the ones with limited space. Because of their slim design, they save space and immediately elevate the look and feel of your closet due to the velvet texture. They also keep your clothes from slipping off which is super dope. Plus, they come in a bunch of colors, so you can match your aesthetic.
Personal Tip:
I remember when I switched from plastic hangers to velvet hangers years ago, it was like a light bulb went off. I was able to double my closet space AND make my closet look better. My clothes also felt more fancy cause they didn’t fall off the hanger. I’ve always gone with the black velvet hangers for an elevated uniform cause it makes my closet feel like a boutique.

You probably already know that baskets are a wonderful way to organize your closet, they’re great for bulky items like winter gear, seasonal things like swimsuits, and accessories. But to organize like a pro, you want to use bin inserts with your baskets. Personal Tip:
Buy bin inserts to go inside of the baskets you already have. Make sure the bin inserts are a little shorter so they fit completely inside. My favorites are in your closet:

4. Matching Baskets or Boxes

Using baskets or boxes means nothing if it doesn’t bring uniformity to your closet. Patterns create more organization than you realize. When things don’t match, it creates visual clutter that catches your eye but you don’t know it consciously. So having matching baskets is a must.
Personal Tip:
Matching means the same color, size, shape, material, style, or brand. Something about the baskets needs to match to create uniformity and eliminate visual clutter. I use Hermès Boxes to store miscellaneous items in my closet. Although they are different sizes, my closet is still uniform because the boxes are the same color.

Personal Tip:
When I started to set out my toddler's clothes for the week, I decided to hang them and use closet rod organizers to do so. I labeled each rod organizer a day of the week then hung an outfit for that day plus her pajamas for that night. 6. Drawer Organizers

If you have a dresser, consider it an extension of your closet. And if you have drawers that are inside your closet, you need these too. Drawer organizers allow you to create space boundaries. I recommend using the top drawer for intimate clothing like panties bras, socks, or briefs.
Personal Tip:
If you’re strapped for space, declutter your socks by having 3 pairs for each day, ankle, long, fuzzy, dressy, etc. Do the same for underwear like thongs, boyshorts, briefs, etc. So basically 21 pairs of socks altogether or 21 pieces of underwear. Only do this if you’ve ran out of space.

I will forever swear by file folding because the system is a companion to drawer dividers. They go together really badly. Once again, creating a physical divide between clothes creates a pattern our brain loves and reduces the visual clutter our brain hates.
Personal Tip:
Even if you hate to fold, you can use drawer dividers to separate your underwear or socks that you’d rather just throw in the drawer. Get a label maker to print “Underwear” and “Socks” and put it along the drawer. You’ve just created a simple system you can follow on your worst days.

Personal Tip:
I can’t tell you to throw away your shoe boxes because earlier I told you I keep and use mine. Although I keep mine with a purpose. You have to use discernment when it comes to applying this tip to organizing your shoes. If practicality is more important than aesthetics, these may be the perfect solution.
9. Shoe Cabinet

You can add a decorative and smart closet solution all at once. You don’t have to limit them to hold your shoes either. You can store your specialty and seasonal items like biking shoes, yoga blocks, or ski goggles in the shoe cabinet.
Personal Tip:
I would opt for a shoe cabinet with 1 or two drawers for extra storage for miscellaneous items like pins, sunglass cases, or glasses wipes. Just make sure to get the drawer dimensions and add drawer organizers for the drawers.

Personal Tip:
When I put together my husband's closet, I didn’t know how much the valet rod would come in handy. I’ve seen him use it for shirts he ironed, a jack he recently wore, and a suit he wants to pack for a work trip. It makes owning a closet feel luxurious.
Although these top closet organization products are geared toward moderate-sized closets,
they can be used for walk-in closets as well. The saying less is more is so true when you have the right strategies. Hence why you may have some of these organizing products but never thought to use them in the way I shared. Get ready for a more easeful morning getting ready due to these upgrades to your closet. Additional Tips
If you have one of those Amazon dressers inside of your closet AND a classic dresser outside of your closet, see them as one large dresser. Use the smaller drawers for intimates and the larger drawers for things like sleepwear, hoodies, and t-shirts.

Treat it with love, respect, and care now. Put your clothes away after getting dressed because you adore your closet. Treat your drawers with respect and act like someone is gonna open them up.
